Let my legs
be -

I was hiking up the mountain,
looking down, seeing beautiful trees, and
Looking up.
Rivers flowing in strong streams and
Waterfalls crashing down like flashing beams.
Not knowing what would happen when I reached
the top.
Scared; but I couldn't stop
My legs were shaking
And my skin was baking.
Finally I reached the top of the mountain
I felt like swimming in a fountain
Still it was a good experience for me
To push myself and let my legs be.

Friends were there - Laurel
Swerdlow
Beautiful waterfalls
Made of many colors
Blue, orange, green, and pink.
Liquid running through rocks
sparkling pristine water
I hopped from stone to stone.
Going through a dark cave
Trusting my friends
It was scary at first.
Standing in the heartwood
A giant Sequoia towering above me
Deer scampering around.
Everything that happened
In Yosemite Park
Was better because my friends were there.
