View from Gadot Lookout

According to Sima, the best tour guide in Israel, this view overlooks Lebanon and was a Syrian bunker prior its liberation by the Israelis in 1967.

Eli Cohen, an Israeli spy, suggested the planting of eucalyptus trees to keep the soldiers cool, but in fact the trees marked the bunkers for the Israelis.

Depending on the current negotiations, the Golan Heights may be returned to the Syrians.
